Flutter or React? Which to learn first

A common question: should I learn Flutter or React? Short answer: both are good, and the difference is what you want to build.

The difference in one line

  • With Flutter you build phone apps for Android and iPhone from one codebase.
  • With React you build websites and web pages, like dashboards and online stores.

Pick Flutter if

  • You want to see your app on your phone and publish it on Google Play and the App Store.
  • You enjoy design and motion on screens.
  • You want to work at companies that make mobile apps, or freelance building apps for shops and small businesses.

Pick React if

  • You like websites and want your work to open on any device without installing.
  • You want the most job openings: almost every company has a website.
  • You plan to learn React Native later and build phone apps too.

What about jobs?

Both are in demand in Egypt, the Gulf and remote work for companies abroad. The tool matters less than finishing a real project you can show in an interview.

That's why in our courses every student builds a full app or website step by step, the same way we build our projects at predev.

Still torn?

Try both hands-on before paying for a full track. In the Starter course you build a small phone app and a small website, and at the end we help you choose.

Questions people ask

Which is easier for a beginner?

Both work for beginners. With Flutter you see results on your phone quickly; React needs website basics first. In our courses both start from zero.

Can I learn both?

Yes, one after the other. Finish one track and build a project in it, then start the other.

How much is your Flutter or React course and how long is it?

Each track is 60 live hours, in person in Heliopolis or online; the price and dates are on the course page, with installments available.
