Privacy policy

What we collect

• Contact details you give us in a form on this site (apply, free lecture, waitlist, or the track quiz): your name, phone number and, if you add it, your email. If you take the quiz and send us your result, we also keep your answers and the result.
• Your account, once you enroll: name, email, phone number, preferred language, and a password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we store the account identifier they send us, not your Google or Apple password.
• Your coursework: attendance, the tasks you submit (links and files), grades and feedback, and your certificate.
• Payment records: the amounts you paid or were refunded, dates, payment method (for example InstaPay, Vodafone Cash or cash), reference numbers and receipts. We do not collect card numbers.
• Your device's push token, if you allow notifications in the app, so we can send you session reminders and announcements.
• Technical data: our servers log IP addresses and request details to keep the service secure and to limit abuse. The site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser.

Why we use it

• To answer your application or enquiry and tell you about cohorts and free lectures you asked about.
• To run your course: schedules, live session links, recordings, tasks, attendance and certificates.
• To record payments, issue receipts and handle refunds.
• To send notifications you allowed in the app.
• To keep the service secure and to meet legal and accounting duties.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Session recordings are available to your cohort during the course and for 6 months after it ends. Your access then ends.
• Enquiries from the site are kept until you ask us to remove them.
• Account and coursework data are kept while your account exists, so you can get your certificate and records later. They are deleted when you delete your account.
• Payment records are kept for as long as Egyptian tax and accounting law requires, even after you delete your account.
• Server logs are kept for a short time for security and then deleted.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Hosting: the servers that run this site, the app's backend and its database.
• Email: a provider that sends our emails, such as invitations, password resets and receipts.
• Bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia): stores and streams session recordings.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): delivers push notifications to the app.
• Google and Apple: only if you choose to sign in with them.

Transfers outside Egypt

Some of these providers store or process data outside Egypt. We choose providers that protect data and use it only for the service they give us.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a purpose you no longer agree to. You can also withdraw a consent you gave, for example to notifications, at any time. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. These rights follow Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

Deleting your account

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm and delete your account, coursework and push tokens within 30 days. Payment records that the law requires us to keep are kept until that period ends, and then deleted.

Children

Our courses are for adults. A student under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign the student agreement, and we do not knowingly collect data from children without that consent.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell enrolled students in the app or by email.
